Issue: rnOn certain trucks, a software problem could cause a delay in the transmission gear selection indicator (PRND) being displayed in the instrument panel cluster, or cause the selected gear not to display properly. rnNote: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a 3.5-inch instrument panel cluster and a column shifter. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA transmission gear selection indicator that doesn't display properly could create confusion and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnFCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the instrument panel cluster software.
