Issue: rnOn certain trailers, the lock nuts that secure the axle to the frame may not lock properly and could loosen. If this happens, the axle could separate from the trailer and cause a loss of control. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of control could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, an axle that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnAmerican Manufacturing Operations will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the lock nuts for the axle brackets.
