Issue: rnOn certain motorcycles, the rear taillight assemblies may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the taillights, brake lights and rear turn signals may not work and/or could flicker. rnrnSafety Risk: rnLights that don't work and/or flicker could create confusion and cause others not to recognize when the motorcycle is braking and/or turning. This could also make the motorcycle less visible to others. These issues could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnAprilia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear taillight assemblies.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2025524.
