Issue:

Stop lamps, and/or turn signals that don't work could cause a person not to recognize that a vehicle ahead is braking or intends to turn or change lanes. Taillamps that don't work could make the vehicle less visible to others. These issues could increase the risk of a crash.Corrective Actions:
BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the affected rear lamps.
