Issue: rnOn a small number of motorhomes, the cotter pin that secures the brake booster pushrod to the brake pedal may not have been installed. As a result, the pushrod could detach from the pedal and cause a loss of brakes. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of brakes can create the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises you not to drive your motorhome until the recall repairs are completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a Ford dealer to arrange for an inspection. The dealer will repair the brake pedal assembly, as necessary.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2026085.
