Both registers carry the same date for this defect.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 26V207, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnOn certain trucks, a software problem could cause the trailer turn signal lights not to work when towing. rnNote: This problem would cause an error message to display on the instrument panel.rnrnSafety Risk: rnTurn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, Mack advises you to test the trailer turn signals before driving, until the recall repairs are completed. Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
