Issue: rnOn certain school buses, the nuts that secure the all-weather windshield wipers may not have been tightened correctly. As a result, the windshield wipers may not work properly or could detach. rnrnSafety Risk: rnWindshield wipers that don't work properly could affect a driver's visibility. Windshield wiper(s) that detach from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBlue Bird will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and correctly tighten the nuts between the blades and mounting arms. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the inspection and repairs performed at a Blue Bird dealership.
