Transport Canada carries this recall as 2026322, dated 30 June 2026. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 26V426, dated 2 July 2026. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, 9901660.

The two registers are 2 days apart: the Canadian entry is dated first, the American one second.

These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.

Read the American notice 26V426, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue:rnOn a small number of RV trailers, the inverter may not have been grounded.rnrnSafety Risk:rnAn inverter that's not grounded could create a risk of shock or electrocution. This could also create the risk of a fire.rnrnCorrective Actions:rnTo reduce the safety risk, Jayco advises not to use the inverter until the recall repairs have been completed. Jayco will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to install a ground for the inverter.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2026322.
