What the notice says 燃料ポンプ電子制御ユニットの防水機能が不適切なため、当該電子制御ユニットと燃料ポンプに接続している端子部に水が浸入し、錆が発生することがある。そのため、当該接続端子が腐食し、燃料ポンプが作動不良となり、最悪の場合、エンジンが停止して再始動できなくなるおそれがある。 本件は、外－１２１５、平成１７年３月１７日付けでリコール届出を行ったものですが、新たに対象車を追加するものである。

全車両、燃料ポンプ電子制御ユニットのＯリング（黒）を対策品（青緑）に交換するとともに、電子制御ユニットと燃料ポンプの接続端子を点検し、端子が腐食している場合は、電子制御ユニットと燃料ポンプを交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
