What the notice says 燃料ポンプにおいて、当該ポンプのコネクター端子の設計が不適切なため、端子間で微動振動摩耗や擦過腐食が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、端子に錆が発生し、接触抵抗が増えることで発熱し、コネクター端子付近に穴が開き、燃料が漏れるほか、端子間に接触不良が発生し、警告灯が点灯するとともに、燃料ポンプが停止し、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストに至るおそれがある。

燃料ポンプにおいて、当該ポンプのコネクター端子の設計が不適切なため、端子間で微動振動摩耗や擦過腐食が発生するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、端子に錆が発生し、接触抵抗が増えることで発熱し、コネクター端子付近に穴が開き、燃料が漏れるほか、端子間に接触不良が発生し、警告灯が点灯するとともに、燃料ポンプが停止し、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストに至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
