ブローバイヒーターのプラスチック製造が不適切なため正温度特性（ＰＴＣ）ヒーターエレメントへの絶縁体に不規則性が生じ、時間の経過とともに正温度特性（ＰＴＣ）ヒーターエレメントがショートする可能性があるが、ヒューズによって確実に保護されない。そのため、正温度特性（ＰＴＣ）ヒーターエレメントが異常発熱して外装が溶け、エンジン警告灯が点灯し最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、ブローバイヒーターの点検を行い不具合が確認された場合は対策品と交換する。また、同時にエンジンワイヤーハーネスとブローバイヒーター間に７．５Ａの保護ヒューズを追加し容量の最適化を行う。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
