電動機の電源装置において、バッテリー　エネルギー　コントロール　モジュールの制御プログラムが不適切なため、バッテリーパックアッセンブリの熱過負荷状態時に温度異常を監視できないことがある。そのため、警告灯が点灯し、最悪の場合、バッテリーパックアッセンブリ内のリチウムイオン電池より火災が発生するおそれがある。
