What the notice says ターボチャージャーへのオイル供給ラインに取り付けられているオイルストレーナーにおいて、当該ストレーナーのメッシュサイズが小さすぎるため、オイルストレーナーにオイルの沈殿物が付着することがある。長期間、車両を使用することにより沈殿物が増加すると、オイルストレーナーがつまり、ターボチャージャーへ十分なオイルを供給できなくなり、最悪の場合、エンジンの出力低下やエンジンが停止するおそれがある。

ターボチャージャーへのオイル供給ラインに取り付けられているオイルストレーナーにおいて、当該ストレーナーのメッシュサイズが小さすぎるため、オイルストレーナーにオイルの沈殿物が付着することがある。長期間、車両を使用することにより沈殿物が増加すると、オイルストレーナーがつまり、ターボチャージャーへ十分なオイルを供給できなくなり、最悪の場合、エンジンの出力低下やエンジンが停止するおそれがある。

What is to be done about it

全車両、当該オイルストレーナーを対策品と交換する。また、ターボチャージャーを点検し、必要であれば新品と交換する。
