Concern

Suspension lower arm ball joint may suffer premature wear

Defect, as DVSA words it

There is a possibility that due to water and dirt ingress into the lower arm ball joint the ball stud and joint case may suffer from premature wear. In the worst case the ball stud may come out of the ball joint case.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall affected vehicles inspect the lateral lower arm ball joints and replace if free play exceeds manufacturers specification.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
