Concern

Rear brake and hub security concern

Defect, as DVSA words it

It is possible for the bolts to be loose that join the rear brake and hub assembly to the rear axle carrier due to insufficient tightening. 1 or more of the 4 bolts could come loose causing an abnormal noise from the rear wheel axle area. In the event that all 4 bolts loosen completely separation of the rear brake and hub assembly from the rear axle carrier may occur which in the worst case could lead to a loss of vehicle control.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall affected vehicles and check the rear brake and hub securing bolts for correct tightness.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
