Split pin may be missing from drag link securing nut.

A split pin may be missing from the steering drag link ball joint castle nut which could subsequently loosen.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall and examine the affected vehicles. If a split pin is found to be missing implement the repair procedure specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
