Concern

Rear axle v-stay ball joint can prematurely wear.

Defect, as DVSA words it

At high inclination the sealing boot of the axle 'V' stay ball joint can be damaged and allow the ingress of water and dirt which can cause the ball joint to wear prematurely and cause the axle to become loose.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall affected vehicles and fit modified 'V' stay
