Concern

Steering could be impaired

Defect, as DVSA words it

It has been identified that it is possible that the threaded joints on the chassis of subject vehicles may not have been tightened to the prescribed torque. This may result in the screws becoming loose resulting in noises from around the vehicle. Should the screws detach steering control can become impaired.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recalled vehicles will have the subject joints checked to ensure that they are tightened to the correct torque.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
