Bonnet catch may open

Defect, as DVSA words it

The bonnet lock mechanism my seize and allow the bonnet to open whilst the vehicle is in motion causing a loss of vision.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

In the first instance lubricate and free off the bonnet lock mechanism. When parts become available replace bonnet lock mechanism.
