MT-07 (MTN690) Engine Protection Low interference with brake pedal (Accessory Kit)

Defect, as DVSA words it

When the right-side Engine Protection Low (Accessory Kit) is installed it may interfere with the brake pedal stroke. This could affect the brake performance of the rear brake

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Dealers will contact any known customers on their records for a replacement. If a customer presents a unit for service or repair or stock unit has the old Engine Protection Low (Accessory Kit) fitted the bracket will be replaced.

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.
