Defect, as DVSA words it

Affected vehicles may suffer a loss of Hydraulic Brake Compensation (HBC). In a worst-case scenario this can lead to reduced brake performance.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Update the ECU (Engine Control Unit) calibration.
