TB2024-0010 Caravan Chassis Torque – Rework Campaign

Defect, as DVSA words it

The manufacturer has identified an irregularity with the calibration of the torque gun used to tighten the caravan chassis fixings during construction. This affects caravans built between 12th August 2024 and 3rd October 2024.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recheck and where necessary tighten chassis fixings with a correctly calibrated torque tool. The Manufacturer will contact all registered owners and undertake the rework on their vehicles at their home address or place of storage.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.
