Defect, as DVSA words it

On affected vehicles there may be a defect present in the fuel tank threads which could potentially lead to a fuel leak.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Check the blown-molding engraved date marking date at the bottom of the fuel tank and replace the lock nut and O-ring if necessary.
