Concern

MAN Truck – Quality assurance measure - eTGS and eTGX – Chassis mounted High Voltage battery bracket tighten securing bolts to specified torque also check brackets for cracks renew should this be the case.

Defect, as DVSA words it

For affected vehicles the High Voltage Battery retaining brackets may develop cracks due to pre-damage during the assembly process.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

A check of the security and condition of the chassis mounted High Voltage Battery bracket’s if cracks are found they will be renewed.
