What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

Honda Motorcycles CBR1000 in the other registers

This site holds seven national and European registers. Honda Motorcycles CBR1000 is named on 1 Israeli notices. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.

Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

Honda Motorcycles elsewhere in this register

Honda Motorcycles is named on 108 notices in the copy of the DVSA’s register held here, of which these are the nearest to this one in time.

The same concern: REAR SHOCK ABSORBER MAY FAIL CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE MACHINE

4 notices in this register name REAR SHOCK ABSORBER MAY FAIL CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE MACHINE. A defect that keeps returning under one heading is worth reading as a group rather than one notice at a time.

Reading this against the source

This page is what the DVSA published in its file of vehicle recalls, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /uk-recalls, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
