Concern

Engine may cut out or lose power

Defect, as DVSA words it

On some machines there is a possibility that the main switch lead wire may be damaged by the metal guide located on the steering head pipe. This may expose electrical wires and result in an electrical short circuit causing he main fuse to fail. This may lead to a loss of power.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

On affected machines reroute the main switch wire r with a countermeasure sub-lead
