Concern

Reduced brake efficiency

Defect, as DVSA words it

The front brake master cylinder piston when subjected to particular shock load and vibration conditions may fail and result in the failure of the front brake. This will lead increased braking distances.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and fit replacement parts kit which includes piston and seals with appropriate lubrication.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.
