Concern

Right hand switch cube does not meet quality standards

Defect, as DVSA words it

Some motorcycles have been manufactured with a right-hand switchcube that does not meet quality standards. Affected switch cubes may develop corrosion within the Stop/Run/Start circuit. If the key fob is stored on or near the motorcycle and all other safety interlocks are met this condition could lead to unintentional vehicle power-up or start sequence.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Affected machines will be recalled to dealerships who will pelace the righ-thand switch cube with an updated version.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.
