Concern

The pivot pin material does not have the correct quality and the yield strength is not sufficient

Defect, as DVSA words it

The material of the pivot pin which connects the swinging arm to the rear bevel gear does not have the correct quality

Remedy, as DVSA words it

On affected bikes the pivot pin will be replaced. Furthermore the repair manual will be revised as the pivot pins needs to be replaced by any related repair.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.
