OVER TIGHTENING AND/OR CONTINUED RETIGHTENING THE BRAKE PEDAL TO MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD MOUNTING FASTENER COULD CAUSE THE LOCKING FEATURE OF THE SHOULDER NUT TO BECOME INEFFECTIVE. THE RESULT MAY BE A DISCONNECTION OF THE BRAKE PEDAL AND LOSS OF SERVICE BRAKES. THIS IS AN EXTENSION AND FOLLOW-UP TO RECALL V76021.
