VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH MANUAL STEERING. THE COUPLING THAT ATTACHES THE STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT TO THE STEERING GEAR MAY HAVE OVERSIZED SERRATIONS WHICH COULD PREVENT THE COUPLING FROM BEING PROPERLY TIGHTENED ON THE STEERING GEAR SHAFT. THE COUPLING COULD SLIP ALLOWING EXCESSIVE STEERING FREE PLAY AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL.
