On certain motorcyles, due to metal fatigue after extended use, hairline cracks may develop in the front wheel where the spokes join the hub. Continued operation of the motorcycle could result in expansion of the cracks and/or development of additional cracks in the wheel. This could result in impairment of wheel operation and adversely affect vehicle control.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1984102.
