BENDIX DDM DRIVELINE TYPE PARKING BRAKES MAY HAVE CRACKS IN THE BRAKE ACTUATING CAM AND LEVER OF THE BRAKE ASSEMBLY.FAILURE OF A CRACKED PART CAN MAKE THE PARKING BRAKE INOPERATIVE. A CAM FAILURE COULD OCCUR AFTER THE BRAKE HAS BEEN SET AND THE VEHICLE LEFT UNATTENDED. THE PARKED VEHICLE COULD ROLL AWAY AND CRASH.
