ON MODELS WITH FA536,FA537 OR FA538 SERIES FRONT STEERING AXLE,THE RACE OF THE STEERING KNUCKLE THRUST BEARING CAN BREAK DOWN AND EVENTUALLY SHATTER DUE TO EMBRITTLEMENT.THIS COULD CAUSE THE KINGPIN TO DROP OUT OF ITS TAPERED RECEPTACLE, CAUSING A BINDING ACTION BETWEEN THE AXLE EYE AND THE KNUCKLE RESULTING IN INCREASED STEERING DRAG AND POSSIBLE STEERING LOCK UP.
