THE PLASTIC SECONDARY HOOD LATCH DUST SHIELD COULD BE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED WHEN THE LATCH MECHANISM IS SERVICED. THIS COULD AFFECT THE NORMAL OPERATION OF THE SECONDARY HOOD LATCH MECHANISM. A SEIZED PRIMARY HOOD CABLE PLUS AN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED PLASTIC DUST SHIELD COULD RESULT IN SUDDEN OPENING OF THE HOOD WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. rnCORRECTION: PLASTIC DUST COVER WILL BE DISCARDED, AN IMPROVED (CORROSION RESISTANT) PRIMARY HOOD CABLE WILL BE INSTALLED AND HOOD LATCH MECHANISM WILL BE REPLACED AND LUBRICATED.
