THE STEERING DRAG LINK HAS AN END THAT IS SLOTTED TO ALLOW FOR CLAMPING OF BALL JOINT. IN SOME CASES THE SLOT MAY NOT BE FULLY CLOSED BY THE BALL JOINT THREAD. THIS COULD ALLOW WATER TO ENTER THE DRAG LINK AND RESULT IN CORROSION AND WEAKENING OF THE DRAG LINK. A FRACTURED DRAG LINK COULD ADVERSELY AFFECT VEHICLE CONTROL AND RESULT IN A CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING. CORRECTION: DRAG LINK WILL EITHER BE REPLACED OR INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF NECESSARY DEPENDING UPON DRAG LINK SPECIFICATIONS.
