On certain Audi 200 turbo and 5000 turbo, the fuel injector seals may harden due to high temperature and alcohol in fuel. This could allow fuel to escape and leak into the engine compartment as a result of turbo pressure. Fuel escaping in this manner could drop onto hot engine components and cause a fire. rnCorrection: Fuel injector seals will be replaced with improved seals, fuel lines will be replaced with fire resistant fuel lines and the sound proofing pad will be replaced with an improved surface treated non- flammable pad. Also, measures will be taken to better seal the engine against lubricant leakage.
