THE FRONT HOOD SAFETY LATCH MAY NOT PROPERLY LOCK DUE TO POSSIBLE INTERFERENCE FROM LUGGAGE WITHIN THE COMPARTMENT AND/OR A PLASTIC TRIM PIECE SURROUNDING THE LATCH. IF THE SAFETY LATCH IS NOT PROPERLY LOCKED, AND IF THE FRONT HOOD IS LEFT UNLOCKED OR IS MISTAKENLY OPENED WHILE DRIVING, THE FRONT HOOD COULD OPEN, OBSTRUCTING THE DRIVER'S FORWARD VISION AND RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT.rnCORRECTION: PLASTIC TRIM PIECE WILL BE REPLACED AND A BRACKET WILL BE INSTALLED BEHIND THE SAFETY LATCH TO PREVENT INTERFERENCE BY LUGGAGE OR OTHER OBJECTS.
