What the notice says The brake chambers were mounted on tag axles with their mounting studs aligned horizontally instead of vertically. this can result in the base of the brake chamber housing fracturing which would limit the ability to apply the service brake at that wheel.

THE BRAKE CHAMBERS WERE MOUNTED ON TAG AXLES WITH THEIR MOUNTING STUDS ALIGNED HORIZONTALLY INSTEAD OF VERTICALLY. THIS CAN RESULT IN THE BASE OF THE BRAKE CHAMBER HOUSING FRACTURING WHICH WOULD LIMIT THE ABILITY TO APPLY THE SERVICE BRAKE AT THAT WHEEL.
CORRECTION: BRAKE CHAMBERS WILL BE REPLACED WITH CHAMBERS THAT HAVE REINFORCEMENTS FOR HORIZONTAL MOUNTING.
