NOTE: FRONT DISCHARGE MIXER CHASSIS. THE PILLOW BLOCKS SUPPORTING THE FRONT DRIVING AXLE DRIVESHAFT ARE OF INSUFFICIENT STRENGTH AND COULD FAIL. THIS COULD ALLOW THE DRIVELINE (JACKSHAFT) TO DROP DOWN ONTO THE ROADWAY AND CREATE A SAFETY HAZARD TO OTHER HIGHWAY USERS. CORRECTION: THICKER PILLOW BLOCKS AND SUPPORTING U-BOLTS WILL BE INSTALLED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.

Transport Canada recorded this notice in capitals, as its system did for many years. It is reproduced here exactly as published.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1993150.
