NOTE: FLEETMASTER MODEL FIFTH WHEELS MANUFACTURED BETWEEN JUNE 1993 AND APRIL 1994.
A CASTING DEFECT IN THE FRONT LOCK PORTION OF THE FIFTH WHEEL CASTING CAN RESULT IN A CRACK IN THE THROAT AREA. SUCH A CRACK COULD PROPAGATE IN SERVICE AND POSSIBLY LEAD TO THE SEPARATION OF THE TRACTOR AND THE TRAILER.
CORRECTION: AFFECTED FIFTH WHEEL CASTINGS WILL BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF NECESSARY.
