IF THE CHILD RESTRAINT IS UNTETHERED, THE T-SHIELD CAN SEPARATE FROM THE BUCKLE IF THE VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A MODERATELY SEVERE FRONTAL COLLISION. THIS CAN ALLOW THE CHILD TO BECOME UNRESTRAINED AND INCREASE THE POTENTIAL FOR INJURY.rnCORRECTION: DOREL/COSCO WILL PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT BUCKLE MECHANISM KIT FREE OF CHARGE WHEN CONTACTED BY THE CONSUMER AT 1-800-387-2229.
