THE PLASTIC SLEEVE POSITIONED IMMEDIATELY ABOVE THE METAL TONGUE CAN TEAR, SPLIT OR THE STITCHING CAN RELEASE WHICH CAUSES THE PLASTIC SLEEVE TO SLIDE DOWN THE TOP OF THE BUCKLE TONGUE. THIS MAKES THE ENGAGEMENT OF THE TONGUE INTO THE BUCKLE DIFFICULT AND COULD CREATE A FALSE LATCH SITUATION.rnCORRECTION: CONSUMERS SHOULD CONTACT EVENFLO AT 1-800-689-4434 AND EVENFLO WILL PROVIDE AN INSTRUCTION SHEET ON HOW THE PROBLEM CAN BE RECTIFIED.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1994129.
