DEFECT: WHEN THE INFANT RESTRAINT IS USED WITHOUT THE CONVENIENCE BASE, A PARTIAL SEPARATION OF THE PLASTIC SHELL OF THE RESTRAINT AT THE HOOKS WHERE THE VEHICLE LAP BELT THREADS CAN OCCUR IF THE VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR THE INFANT RESTRAINT TO BE SEPARATED FROM THE VEHICLE LAP BELT IN A SEVERE FRONTAL COLLISION.rnCORRECTION: A REPAIR KIT FOR THE RESTRAINTS WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE CUSTOMER.
