RESIDUAL ENGINE HEAT AFTER THE ENGINE IS TURNED OFF MAY CAUSE PREMATURE DETERIORATION OF FUEL HOSE ELASTICITY. THIS MAY LEAD TO A REDUCTION IN THE SEATING PERFORMANCE OF THE FUEL HOSES. IN ADDITION, REMOVING AND REINSTALLING THE DETERIORATED FUEL HOSES MAY CAUSE FUEL SEEPAGE WHICH COULD POSSIBLY RESULT IN AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE.rnCORRECTION: FUEL HOSES WILL BE REPLACED WITH MODIFIED HOSES.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1995067.
