Mazda 626 in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Mazda 626 is named on 3 British notices, 2 European, 1 Dutch, 1 Japanese and 2 Israeli. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.

Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

THE PASSENGER SIDE SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (AIR BAG) MAY HAVE A CRACKED INFLATOR BODY. IF THE VEHICLE IS INVOLVED IN A DEPLOYMENT LEVEL CRASH, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG MAY NOT INFLATE PROPERLY WHICH COULD RESULT IN REDUCED OCCUPANT PROTECTION. IN ADDITION, THE IGNITER PLUG COULD SEPARATE FROM THE INFLATOR, WHICH COULD RESULT IN THE RELEASE OF HOT GASES AND COULD IGNITE FLAMMABLE MATERIAL OR POTENTIALLY CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY.
CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND A NEW PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG MODULE WILL BE INSTALLED IF NECESSARY.
Transport Canada recorded this notice in capitals, as its system did for many years. It is reproduced here exactly as published.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1995033.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Mazda: 204 in the register, and 237 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 1995.
