THIS WOULD ALLOW THE DETENT PLATE TO ROTATE WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPRESSION ROD. IF THIS WERE TO OCCUR, THE TRANSMISSION SELECTOR LEVER COULD BE INADVERTENTLY MOVED FROM THE PARK POSTION.
CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CONTROL DEVICE ASSEMBLY WILL BE REPLACED IF REQUIRED.
