On certain vehicles, the windshield and liftgate glass was installed using an incorrect urethane without the appropriate primer. This could potentially result in an adhesive bond rather than the intended molecular bond. An adhesive bond is subject to deterioration over time. If the bond deteriorates, it could potentially provide less than the intended level of glass retention in the event of a vehicle crash. Correction: Windshield and liftgate glass will be replaced using the appropriate urethane installation kit.
