Certain heavy-duty trucks. The vacuum pump shaft breaks due to insufficient heat treatment. If the shaft breaks, braking distance would be extended due to the lack of brake booster function, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the vacuum pump shaft assembly.
