On certain vehicles, a hose clamp that secures the power steering fluid cooler hose may not provide sufficient clamping force, which could allow the hose to disconnect from the cooler. The resulting loss of power steering fluid could damage the power steering pump and may diminish the steering power assist function, which could lead to a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the power steering hose clamp.
